All sorts of organisations and theological colleges hold vocations events to help you explore ordination or other forms of service. Some are annual and some are fairly frequent. This page mentions some of them, but please bookmark this page and check back regularly as new events will appear once dates are published.

THE  VOCATIONS CONFERENCE

Every year, the Ministry Division of the Church of England organises a weekend Vocations Conference for men and women who want to explore the idea of ordained ministry.

COMMITTEE FOR MINORITY ETHNIC ANGLICAN CONCERNS (CMEAC)

THE CHURCH PASTORAL AID SOCIETY (CPAS)

CPAS holds ‘You and Ministry’ weekends—these are for men and women, and partners are encouraged to come, if possible. For further information, call Pauline Walden on 01926 458480 or email her. Download a leaflet.

AFFIRMING CATHOLICISM & SOCIETY OF CATHOLIC PRIESTS

These two organisations jointly organise a conference for women and men of all ages who are considering the possibility of ordination. For more information, call James Randle on 0191 334 3344 or email him.

ANGLICAN RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES

Several religious communities run vocations events each year for those considering a call to the religious life. THEOLOGICAL COLLEGES

Wycliffe Hall, Oxford
Offers a range of courses for those training for Christian ministry. To find out more visit on one of their open days - Saturday March 6, 2010 and Tuesday Nov 16, 2010. These last from 10am to 4 pm. Cranmer Hall, Durham
AA 'Step Forward' workshop is being held for those thinking of ministry in the Anglican Church, Saturday 6 Feb, 2010, 11am to 4 pm. It is open to all aged 16 to 30. Download leaflet.
